Don't Fear the Ego

You can’t ignore this desire to share because it’s the true you: You have an obligation to share your words.
Don’t fear the ego.
Let it come up if it wants, but know that as soon as you recognize it, this weakens it. And remember what happens when you fight it; it only comes back stronger.
Let it be if it wants to be.
It’s ok and it’s part of the process.
If you let it be there, it will not be so forceful as it would be in any fight because there’s nothing to fight.
If you’re gentle with it, it has no reason to rage.
It will eventually settle down and relax.
