Hello, sweet one! We are with you always, all of us. There is never any moment of your time when we are not with you. If you are off in your mind and not thinking of us, we will pop up with the signs you’ve come to know so well, such as these common numbers we show you on your clocks or on videos and license plates and dates or wherever we’re able to get your attention and bring your awareness back to the fact that we are here. And even though nothing is serious, it is important that you keep very conscious of our presence because we want you to come more deeply into this understanding that we are you and there is no separation.
Just as you are aware of yourself being, functioning, thinking, and feeling, we want you to be aware of our presence. There is no distinction and no separation, so please know that when you do drift away from having us in the back of your mind, like you have in the back of your mind that you are who you are, we will continue to wave the flags and say, “Yoo-hoo! Over here!”
We are your guides. We are your newly-awakened self; the self which never left and was always there, but just lay beneath your dreams as you slept. As Sleeping Beauty’s whole kingdom, you slept, under a spell, in a way. You went into such a deep sleep that only dreams dictated your reality. The only thing offered on your reel for the screen of life was this dream of having a childhood and becoming an adult and moving through experiences like they were reality.
Now, as you shift from dreaming to awake, you still play along with the dream, but you are becoming ever-more certain that it isn’t what’s real. You have reached a place of knowing you are in an illusion, virtual reality, dream, game, or whatever analogy you feel applies, in the moment. With that knowing comes growing excitement to wake up, but also some trepidation because the dream has become a security-blanket: It’s safe to know this is reality. You don’t know for sure what is there when you open your eyes, so you stay under and use your newly-awakened senses as well as us, your guides, to ease your way into awakening.
We are very gentle on you because we are you and we know your deepest and most personal feelings. We are making sure that all is presented delicately and with ease and grace. We want you to release the fear of what’s on the other side and we’re helping you feel that by sending you the signs we mentioned, but also by stimulating the senses you are recovering which help you to get to know yourself again, without needing to open your eyes to do it.
Awaken carefully, slowly, and with caution. There is no hurry and we’re not going anywhere. Also, enjoy your dream while you’re under. Find all the reasons you wanted to fall asleep and then you’ll let go of any apprehension about the moment when you finally open your eyes.
